Mar 27th ... GRGs Irn Bruisers and Maiden Grrders host Central City Rollers A and B teams in a Double Header "The Violence of the Slams!"

May 22nd & 23rd Scottish Tournament - Aberdeen - GRG field 2 teams in the fight for queen of Scots!

June 26th... GRG V ARRG (Double Header), Home - again, The Irn Bruisers and the Maiden Grrders host the return bout to Auld Reekie's Twisted Thistles and Cannon Belles

Robbing Banks & giving Spanks!

The Molls will take on the dolls in the GRG's second intraleague bout - Bonnie & Collide!

The GRG first split into the Molls & the Dolls last Sptember, aided and abetted with guest skaters from the Lovely London Rollergirls it was a wild game - heart stoppingly close and ending in a draw! So both teams are out to win this time - the kid gloves are off!

Bonnie & Collide will take place in the ARC Sportscentre on Saturday the 30th of May. Adult tickets are £7, Under 14s are only £4 and under 5s get in for free! This time the teams will be joined by guest skaters from both the London Rockin Rollers and our Scottish Sisters the Auld Reekie Roller Girls (Edinburgh)

In with the new!

The Glasgow Roller Girls are always on the lookout for new recruits - but if you want to join us as a skater, just how should you go about it?

Well starting as of May 2009 the first SUNDAY afternoon practice of every month will be open to brand new recruits. If you are a brand new skater and you want to come along and have a go then this is the night for you!

In order to actually skate with us you will need the following kit:
- Quad Roller Skates
- Knee, Wrist & Elbow pads
- A Helmet
- A mouth guard (You will need one of these if you decide to keep skating with us - Not something you want to borrow from one of us!)

If you already have all of these or can get them before you come along then thats great!
But if you havent skated in years and want to have a go before you splash out on any kit then please get in touch with us to let us know and we can try and organise some skates and pads for you. The best way to do this is to get in touch with us through our MySpace or Email us to let us know when you plan on coming along.

Rollerderby is a terrific sport - but its also a fantastic way to get fit, make new friends and nurture your wild side! So come along and visit us on the first Wednesday training session of the month - you'll have a great time.... and your first training session is free!
